Kings Heath Demolition have successfully completed a two-phase contract for the demolition and site remediation for the building materials retailer. The works involved the complete demolition of the existing buildings on site over two phases including the removal of licensable and non-licensable asbestos containing materials. All site won material was crushed on site to a 6f2 grading and re-used within the new development. 

 

The contract was a challenge logistically as the Builders merchants remained open throughout. KHD were heavily involved in planning the logistics for the project to ensure a safe environment for the live retail facility.  

 

The contract was completed on time and on budget with no impact to the live retail site.
