Disney Distribution Centre
We were once again proud to be appointed by one of our most loyal clients to deliver a full-scale strip-out at the Disney Distribution Center as part of a major refurbishment.
Works began with the removal of all internal office spaces, including partitions, fixtures, and services, followed by the careful dismantling of the mezzanine floor, which remained tied into the main structure. Due to its integration with the building’s framework, it was taken down with precision and strict safety controls.
A significant part of the project was the removal of the existing concrete slab, which was broken up and crushed on-site using specialist equipment. This not only reduced waste and haulage but also allowed for the reuse of materials where suitable.
The roof sheet removal formed a major element of the works. Before this could begin, all mechanical and electrical systems fixed to the underside of the roof were meticulously removed. The roof area was then fully netted to ensure a safe working environment. Once safety measures were in place, our team undertook the systematic dismantling and lifting of the roof sheets, executing the process with precision to avoid disruption to the building’s structure and maintain complete control throughout the operation.
This complex refurbishment was executed under tight timelines and high safety standards, showcasing our ability to deliver high-risk structural works with care and efficiency.
