Etruria Valley Pipe Bridge

Kings Heath Demolition was enlisted by a valued client to undertake the removal of a redundant pipe bridge situated at the St. Modwen Etruria Valley Business Park. This particular project required careful planning and a tailored approach due to the bridge's location and structural complexity. The iron pipe bridge spanned the Trent and Mersey Canal, making it an intricate and challenging undertaking that necessitated a full turn-key solution.

Following an initial assessment of the bridge and its surroundings, a comprehensive methodology was developed. This methodology was carefully designed in close collaboration with our specialist lifting partner, ensuring that all aspects of the project were meticulously planned. Additionally, our Health and Safety consultant played a crucial role in reviewing the safety protocols and measures to ensure the work could be carried out with minimal risk and maximum efficiency.

The project’s execution was carried out to the highest standards by our experienced site team. The structure was carefully lifted from its original position using a crane, ensuring a smooth operation without causing any disruption to the surrounding environment. Once lifted, the bridge was transported to a designated area where it could be processed for recycling, aligning with our commitment to sustainable practices.

Throughout the course of the project, we maintained close communication with our client, and the work was completed to their full satisfaction. The careful planning, skilled execution, and attention to safety and environmental impact all contributed to the successful completion of the project, further solidifying our reputation for delivering complex demolition projects with precision and expertise. The positive feedback received from the client reaffirmed the quality and professionalism of our team.
