Nationwide - Tamworth

We carried out a challenging demolition project in Tamworth on a building situated directly along the high street, where space was extremely limited and public footfall was high. Due to the tight working area and the need to protect the surrounding surfaces, we utilised a 14-ton excavator fitted with rubber tracks, ensuring safe manoeuvrability without causing damage to the high-street paving or adjacent structures.

Careful planning and controlled demolition methods were essential, with works sequenced to maintain safe pedestrian routes and minimise disruption to nearby businesses. Material handling was managed within the confined footprint, requiring precise machine operation and continuous coordination to keep the site clear and maintain progress.

Despite the restricted access and sensitive location, the demolition was completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, leaving the area ready for the next stage of redevelopment.
