Shropshire Star, Telford

 

KHD were contracted to carry out total site clearance of the former Shropshire Star offices and newspaper printing facility in Ketley, Telford. The contracted works included extensive asbestos removal, soft strip, de-planting of the heavy-duty newspaper printing equipment, demolition of all structures and removal of slabs and foundations. 

 

The project was located in a heavily occupied area which included major road, residential properties and an adjacent industrial estate. 

 

The works were completed ahead of program for our client to continue with their ongoing development.
